The Image Group have never been afraid of a challenge and the same was true when Involvement Packaging approached them to deliver a graphic and signage package for their new offices.
The journey started with The Image Group being brought in to deliver an external signage programme and office graphics for the new site. The first phase of signage was produced and installed and as the office graphics were being developed a conversation around what could be done with the main office space created an interesting challenge for the team at Image.
In addition to the striking internal graphics being installed, one particular image that the client had seen had sparked an idea. The image showed 100’s of colourful spheres suspended from a ceiling and Image Group were tasked with delivering the concept.
In order to develop the new office display The Image Group had to sacrifice some of their ceiling tiles to test a threaded bar system for the spheres before planning out the installation on site. With the client happy with the tests a layout guide for the positioning was drawn up and the fitting team briefed.
In order to deliver the concept the production team collated the colour specific spheres and the install team set about the challenging task of fitting them on site. With varying heights, groupings and distances the team had to work hard and smart to create a well-balanced and truly stunning display.
For the Image Group, account manager Mike Holmes had this to say –
“A really satisfying project to be involved in, great client and fabulous designs. At the Image Group we love nothing more than a challenge, if a job doesn’t push your limits a little, then you’re not trying hard enough. The suspended spheres were a real team effort with me roping in a couple of the sales team to help out on site attaching the rods through the pre drilled ceiling tiles with tiny fixing nuts to meet the deadline. There is always a solution!”
